The first Freddy movie I saw was the new one... I am only 13 so I have an excuse... But now when I - own =D - have seen the entire series I think number 1 was the best... Even though I think number 3 is the coolest :chainsaw:

You have great taste for someone so young. I agree that the first was the best but my favorite is "Dream Warriors". As for the new one, I haven't watched it because I don't want to see anyone besides Robert Englund playing Freddy. The "Nightmare" series is still my favorite and I had Freddy posters in my room when I was growing up....one, two Freddy's coming for you....three, four better lock your door....five, six grab your crucifix....seven, eight....better stay up late....nine, ten....NEVER SLEEP AGAIN!!

Hahah! "Drem Warriors" is number 3 =D
And NO ONE cam replace Robert Englund. I love the fact that he - next to - always told an ironic joke before he killed people, and the fact that his kills had imagination - the new one is lagging on that! The Freddy in the new movie... Just weren't Freddy at all :|

Freddy is my favorite slasher of all time. I love the original the best. He was so scary yet had a sense of humor that made the movies fun. I still havre not seen the remake and don't plan to.
